Got a Cobalt and a phone full of lake days? I want your photos on MyCobalt — real owner shots for model pages and club features, not just factory brochure stills.
MyCobalt is the Cobalt Boat Owners Club site. Factory photos from cobaltboats.com/models are great for lineup cards, but the club lives when owners send the wake, the dock, the kids on the bow, and the boat that actually sits in your slip. That is the invite.
What I am looking for
- Your boat in the wild — on the trailer, at the ramp, or underway (daylight preferred)
- Year and model in the caption — e.g. 2014 220, 2019 R5, 2022 R6 Surf
- Optional extras — lake or coast, drive type if you know it, one short story (first season, favorite cove, why you bought Cobalt)
- Permission — by sending, you let me use the shot on mycobal.net with credit to your first name / handle if you want it named
No need for pro gear. A clear phone photo beats a dark, tilted blur. Skip heavy filters and screenshots of other people’s ads.
Where your photo might show up
- Model category / editorial pages — when I feature a hull class or refresh a thin model post
- Homepage / news cards — when a shot fits a club story better than a stock factory still
- Social mirrors — X @MyCobaltNet and the Cobalt Boat Owners Club Facebook Page, credited when you ask
I will not sell your photos, run them as paid ads without asking, or strip your credit if you requested one.
How to send
- Email editor@mycobalt.net with subject like “Owner photo — 2018 R3”
- Attach 1–6 photos (or a share link if attachments bounce)
- Include year, model, and whether I may name you on the site
If I use a shot, I will reply when it is live so you can share the link with your dock friends.
Selling or shopping while you are at it
Listing your Cobalt is still $25 basic / $50 premium at mycobalt.net/advertise — same inbox. Steps are in How to List Your Cobalt on MyCobalt. Wanted ads are $25 on that page if you are hunting a specific year/model.
