The New Cobalt R33 Surf!

Cobalt R33 Surf

Same story on the R33 Surf. Current book, never a MyCobalt page. Not the August 2026 arrival. That was the R26 Surf. This is 33′ 4″, 10′ 6″ beam, 150 gallons, Yacht Certified, head yes. Same length, beam, and tank as the sterndrive R33. The surf version is the one with Surf Gate and Volvo Penta Forward Drive, which is how Cobalt describes the whole Surf Class.

Ballast tanks do not apply here. The Surf Class page says that twice: R33 Surf and R35 Surf. The R8 Surf card prints 2,350 lbs. The R4 Surf prints 1,226. The R26 Surf prints 810. This one prints n/a. I am not going to pretend there is a hidden tank number.

Factory specs

  • LOA: 33′ 4″
  • Beam: 10′ 6″
  • Fuel: 150 gal
  • Capacity: Yacht Certified
  • Head: yes
  • Ballast: n/a (class page: ballast tanks do not apply)

Siblings: R33 is the sterndrive. R33 Coastal is the outboard (225 gallons on that card). R33 Surf is this boat. No dry weight, draft, or engine list on the spec card I copied, so those lines stay off this page. If you surf behind one, I want to know whether the pocket is actually a 33-foot wave or a pretty hull with gates.

Club photos to editor@mycobalt.net. I live in the Seattle area and I would rather ride than stare at a 900-pixel PNG. If the R33 Surf means something is coming out of the slip, list it for $25 (or $50 premium). This is not a boat-for-sale post.
