This boat was up for sale earlier in the season but thanks to Covid it was impossible to get a title without my ex’s name on it. After numerous paperwork I finally have a clean title in hand and I’m sorry to those who were interested before. The boat is currently stored at a marina in Pennsylvania.
2004 240 with Volvo 8.1 GXI-D 420hp duo-prop. This boat has been EXCEPTIONALLY maintained and turns heads at every launch ramp. The boat has NEVER been beached and always stored inside and has never been used in salt water. The boat has never been left in the water over night. The gel coat is perfect. Stringers are perfect. The interior seating is perfect. The carpet is perfect. Not 1 scratch, nick or tear. Mechanically this boat is perfect too. The engine has about 750 hrs but looks and runs like new with great compression. Thorough checkout done by Cobalt. Complete lower unit was rebuilt at the end of 2019 season. Every season the oil was changed with synthetic. Every season the cooling system was filled with rust inhibitor antifreeze rather than drained to prolong manifold life. The impeller, plugs and serpentine belt are changed every year. The drive fluid is changed every year. The Optima battery is always on a battery tender in the off season. The universal joints, bellows, gimbal bearing and engine coupling were changed at the end of 2019 season and only used twice during the 2920 season. It has 2 types of covers; cockpit and bow snap down as well as mooring cover which is trailerable. The stereo was upgraded last season with a Sony Head unit and 4 JL Audio 6.5” speakers and a jl 8” sub. The trailer is in great shape after a complete replacement of the surge assembly, 2 calipers and 4 new tires
I do not need to sell this boat but I’m just not using it much anymore. I spend more time washing, waxing and maintaining this boat than I do boating. As I said we went out 2 times this past season.
