Already on Craigslist? Cross-post your Cobalt to MyCobalt in 10 minutes

If your Cobalt is already on Craigslist (or Facebook Marketplace, or a local marina board), you do not need to rewrite the whole ad for MyCobalt. Copy what you have, pay the club rate, and email me. Ten minutes if your photos are already in a folder.

MyCobalt is the Cobalt Boat Owners Club classifieds — owners who already care about this brand. Craigslist casts a wide net. We cast a Cobalt net. Different crowds. Both can work. Cross-posting is normal.

Why bother with a second listing

Generic boards bring tire-kickers and “is this still available” texts at midnight. Club buyers ask about hours, sterndrive service, and whether the trailer is included — because they have owned one. That is the inbox I want for you.

Live examples of the kind of ads already on the board:

Same format every time: year, model, honest description, asking price, location, your contact.

The 10-minute cross-post checklist

  1. Open your Craigslist (or Marketplace) ad — leave it up; we are adding a channel, not replacing one.
  2. Grab the text — year, model, hours, engine, options, price, city. Paste into an email.
  3. Grab up to 9 photos — the same daylight set is fine; I do not need a reshoot.
  4. Pay $25 basic or $50 premium at https://www.mycobalt.net/advertise/
  5. Email editor@mycobalt.net with subject like “List my 2018 R3 — paid — already on Craigslist” plus the paste and photos (or a shared album link).
  6. Wait for my “you’re live” reply with the MyCobalt URL — then optionally add that link back on your Craigslist post so serious buyers land on the full club page.

That is it. No account to build on our side. No monthly subscription. Pay once, I post once, you sell (hopefully).

Basic vs Premium (quick)

  • $25 Basic — 90 days on the board, up to 9 photos
  • $50 Premium — longer / unlimited run if the boat might sit through a season change

What I will not invent

I do not make up seller names, phones, or prices. What you send is what goes on the post. If Craigslist had a typo and you catch it, say so in the email and we fix it before publish.

When it sells, email me. I strip contact info. The sold post stays in the archive so the next shopper can see what hulls actually moved.

Soft ask

Already listed somewhere else? Spend ten minutes and put the same Cobalt in front of club owners.
